every pebble on every beach is different and is following its own unique path until it eventually becomes just sand. we encounter each pebble at a particular point in its lifetime and its shape reflects its point in its erosion journey sculpted by the power of the sea and tidal movements. some just have beautiful proportions, curves and lines that resonate and give pleasure. this piece seeks to capture the essence of the erosion process and the pleasure of such pebbles but at larger scale. mounting on the mirror brings the translucent nature of the stone alive such that it appears to glow from inside.
